Mohabbatein

"Ap ku hui hai kabhi?" (Have you ever loved?), I asked him. Looking directly in his eyes,He didn't reply, just looked down.

"Kya kar skta hai insaan mohabbat mai?" (What can a person do in love?)
I asked again, looking at his face.

"Nazrein jhuka leta hai!" (He lowers his gaze), he replied,look up ,I stopped, my brain went numb. Nazrein toh jhuki hui hai.(He did look down infront of me)

"Aur?" I asked again
(And?) .

"Zillat sahe leta hai"(He endures humiliation), my breath hitched.hid voice enchoing in my chest, increasing my heart beat,Loufer aur BATTAMEEZ toh maina kaha tha aur usne saha tha.
(I call him idiot,I'll mannered, rude but he endure it silently)

My voice come out "Aur?" (And?)

"Dar jata hai uske naraz hone se" (He fears their anger). My breath grew shallow, wasn't it's him jo mere naraz hone se toh woh dar jata hai.(He too fear thinking I will get angry)

"Aur?" (And) I asked again, controlling my heartbeat.

"Jhuk jata hai" (He surrenders),his jaw tightend,My stomach flipped, jhukha toh woh hai mere samne.
(He surrender infront of me)

"Aur?" (And) Again I asked,

"Uske samne bayan nhi kar skta" (He cannot even express in front of them),he breathed heavily, my eyes fixed on his face, bayan toh woh khud bhi nhi karta.
(He too didn't express infront of me)

May voice come out as a whisper "Aur?"
(And)

"Khamoshi se rasta badal leta hai"
(He silently changes his path). I stopped there, cheeks heating, while he moved forward,his head ducked down.
