Berk has fort dragons for as long as...well...as long as anyone could remember. They're Vikings. It's what they do. But some...well, one, is a bit different to the rest. He just wanted to fit in. But for some reason, when he did the unthinkable. When he shot down a night fury, he couldn't, no, he wouldn't kill it. But the thing is, the night fury isn't the only thing he shot down. But what if before he could see the true outcome of the ballista he shot, him, his brother, father and the whole village were transported to a massive hall? One that had a few people that were believed to be dead...

Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the Third is the only son of Stoick the Vast, chief of the Hooligan tribe. As his only son, he is next in line for the chiefdom which wouldn't be a problem, if he wasn't a runt. Viking's believe that a name is what strikes fear into your enemies. Hiccup's obviously doesn't. The name is given to those who won't survive their first winter. Those who don't belong, those who will not be any more than a burden. Hiccup isn't an exception to this. Everything he did, everything he tried had some way of turning back on him. For the longest time he believe that the God's cursed him. They were lost in the woods for days upon days and miraculously had discovered a night fury, one of dad's greatest fears and very endangered but Y/N just couldn't kill it. Upon finding it Y/N tried to go back to berk to tell everyone about it but couldn't as they were scooped up by the night fury and brought to a beautiful island with abundant food and water supply. Overtime they had became friends and As berk was mourning Y/N was training a dragon, crazy if you think about it. Y/N overtime met new dragons and studied them for days upon days and slowly knew how to train all dragons of any class.
