Born an outcast, forged in fire, and marked by a curse, Ovak Oru Oraki has known only a life of brutal self-reliance. Cast out by her own tribe for her unnatural white skin and the mysterious lineage of her shaman-druid warlord father, she became a lone hunter, her every breath a defiance against a world that rejected her. Scarred with the Orcish word "cursed" burned into her back, Ovak transformed her pain into unparalleled power, mastering the forge to craft her bone-and-pelt armor, and perfecting the spear glaive into an extension of her savage will.
Now, amidst Grommash Hellscream's invasion of Azeroth, Ovak arrives as a force unto herself. She fights not for the Iron Horde, nor for any faction, but for her own singular glory. A towering white phantom on the back of her monstrous beast, Saki, she plunges into the heart of battle, seeking only the thrill of conquest and the ultimate test of her raw strength. Her fury knows no allegiance, and her pure white eyes, gleaming through the slits of her skull mask, see all enemies as prey.
When her path collides with the legendary King Varian Wrynn, the battlefield erupts and the newcoming fel... What follows is a clash of titans, a brutal dance of steel and bone, culminating in a grotesque act of triumph that sends shockwaves through both the Horde and the Alliance. As Ovak flaunts her victory, drawing the curious, amused gaze of Grommash Hellscream himself, Azeroth is forced to reckon with a new, unpredictable power. Is she a harbinger of destruction, a catalyst for change, or simply a lone wolf destined to carve her own bloody legend in a world that never asked for her?
Enter the untamed world of Ovak Oru Oraki, where savagery meets cunning, and the line between curse and destiny is forever blurred.

UNEDITED 𝑅𝒾𝓋𝑒𝓇 𝒫𝒽𝑜𝑒𝓃𝒾𝓍𝓈𝑜𝓃𝑔: 𝒜 𝒮𝑜𝓁𝒹𝒾𝑒𝓇'𝓈 𝐿𝒶𝓂𝑒𝓃𝓉 Stuck for ten thousand years- and for what? Because the Wardens decided it was a good idea to let the demon experts be imprisoned until Azeroth called upon them again? Ridiculous. A mass-murderer became an Illidari. For justice. For hope. For pride. And to uphold a broken family name. One that wasn't even Azerothian. The Illidari became a Stormwind City Guard in the Twenty-fourth regiment to prove that she was better than her mother. Better than a failure. And she's survived nearly five years. What's one more? All this and more in River's story! Told from the perspective of someone familiar... ---------- This book is more of a documentation of her life rather then a book. The War Within the Walls by Daws444
28 parts Ongoing
In the golden halls of the royal palace, where polished smiles hide knives and every word is a calculated move, Princess Orm plays her part - warm, naive to some, but quietly drowning under the weight of her fractured family. Her father rules through fear and politics, her mother dotes only on her golden son, and every "friend" she meets either wants her power or fears the consequences of knowing her too well. Behind her practiced smile, she's alone - desperate for real connection, but too cautious to trust anyone. Enter Ling, the cold, sharp-tongued outsider everyone whispers about but no one dares to confront. Raised in the palace since childhood, invited to every royal ceremony yet kept at arm's length, she knows only this: her mother died giving birth to her, and her father was a close friend of the king - a convenient explanation that never fully made sense. With biting humor and fierce loyalty to the few who earn it, she fights daily to carve a place for herself in a world that refuses to let her belong. Their paths have always collided - the princess, with her gentleness and subtle sadness; the noble, with her bitterness masked as indifference. Both convinced the other has the life they crave. Both resenting the other's existence. Both irrevocably wrong. But when buried secrets rise - when whispers of war, bloodlines, and betrayal threaten to unravel the court - they'll discover their shared hatred is built on carefully constructed lies. The noble's true identity is far from what she's been told. Everything they know shatters - loyalty, identity, even the feelings simmering just beneath their constant battles. Enemies by design, drawn together by something neither fully understands. In a palace built on deception, can love survive when the truth finally claws its way to the surface? Or will they destroy each other before the walls come down?

IMPORTANT: This manuscript is a rough draft - widely unedited. There may be grammar, spelling, and pacing issues. I've been working on this story since 2023 in my original manuscript and hope to one day publish the final, extended version. I could see him grinning out of the corner of my eye. He was enjoying this far too much. "Just do not ever scare me like that again, Jasper," I fussed. He winced as I moved the cloth across his ribs. "Or what?" he toyed. I stopped and glared at him, stammering, trying to think of something clever. "I-I'll... I don't know, but I'll think of something." Before I knew it, Jasper had his arm around my waist and pulled me into the tub with a splash. "Jasper," I gasped. In a world where humans and orcs have been at war for centuries, 22-year-old Lady Brenna of Blackwater Hold is sent to the Northern Orruk Horde - an unheard-of act. Her father, King Corvus, pledged her to the chief, Jasper Bloodborne, to save his own life. Were these orcs the beasts her father taught her to fear? She soon learns how wrong she was - and that her time in the Northern Orruk Mountains will change everything she thought she knew about loyalty, courage, and desire. ⚠️ Content Warning: This story contains sexual content, mentions of SA, miscarriage, abortion, violence, and gore. The Crownless Lands by SteScope
11 parts Ongoing
Welcome, traveler. Step into the Crownless Lands-a realm that should have been golden but never was. The maps still show grand borders; the songs still promise glory. But up close you'll find frayed banners, broken vows, and people trying to live between the teeth of history. Here, adventurers hunt fortunes that refuse to be found. Heroes rise late or fall early. Lives are traded, stolen, and sometimes-miraculously-saved. And the creatures? Some stalk the roads and terrorize the villages. Others arrive with a lesson sharp as a blade. And the kingdom's worst monsters wear crowns made of lies. --- What You're Getting Into: A weekly high/dark-fantasy pulp serial-fast, moody, full of intrigue, sorcery, and razor twists. Each episode lands a complete beat and ends on a cliffhanger. Where It All Unravels: A continent under a failing crown: forts crumble, roads go quiet, new rules harden. Towns and frontiers fend for themselves-more grit than resources. Bloodlines, Beasts & the In-Between: Shifts among humans, elves, dwarves, orcs, and classic creatures-some scourge, some uneasy allies. How the Story Moves: Chapters leap across the map, braiding many plots into one struggle. Local skirmishes mirror the bigger fight for a crown no one can hold. The People Worth Bleeding For: An ensemble of adventurers, exiles, heirs, and schemers. Not every arc finds light-some rise late, fall early, or trade all for one mercy. Your Weekly Drop: New chapters every Thursday, 6-10k words. Each deepens the world, sharpens the cast, and drives the saga-great for weeklies and first-timers. Important Note: The story follows multiple destinies; chapters are non-sequential and jump between plots across the Crownless Lands.

In JOS I set the rogue and con-artist Harric against a foil of warriors in a land threatened by magic and civil war. Whenever possible I turn familiar tropes on their heads: instead of a handsome young Lancelot, I cast a broken-down ex-champion addicted to pain-killing herbs; instead of a dashing Squire Brian, the old knight reluctantly takes an ambitious young woman as squire. Similarly, I re-imagine the standard medieval milieu by infusing aspects of two of my favorite historical periods, Elizabethan England, and The American Frontier. Both eras boast a kind of nationalistic arrogance that borders on hubris, and a magnificent spirit of resourcefulness and re-invention that is fun to play with. SERIES The Jack of Souls is first in a series. I am posting parts of the sequel here now (The Knave of Souls), to help me refine the story.

27 parts Complete

"She firmly believed her entire being to be nothing more than a cruel joke bestowed upon her by the gods of old. With a Rohinian birth, the looks of a Gondorian lady, the name of a great elf maiden of the past, and an ancestry that left her hunted, Lúthien believed her very existence to be a blasphemy to everyone and everything in regards to nature." Orphaned at a young age, raised by the grey wizard, and hunted her entire life for things beyond her control, Lúthien finds her path crossing and intertwining with the battle to save Middle Earth and a rather serious Marshal of the Mark. {Slow Burn} [EomerxOC] ***I do not own anything regarding Lord of the Rings or its characters.
