One day you wake up in the universe of your favorite game- Devil May Cry. You know all these characters so well... and have known for ages. And now you spend time with them, live around them every day. Including Vergil, the man you've always loved so much, and wished you could just hug him and be there for him, knowing everything you know.
And the thing is... now you can. But then there's the question: will he let you in?
(this fic will focus on relationships with more characters than just Vergil, but the only romantic one is with him. It's kinda more ''reader in the DMC universe'' with slice of life events n such as well, not just back to back Vergil scenes.)
It's not YET marked as mature, but eventually there will be smut. Just a lil heads-up before you start reading.

DANTE X ORIGINAL CHARACTER Lynaria Woods lives a quiet and fulfilling life tending to her flower-medicinal shop after the death of her father leaving her to take up his place. Lynaria's typical day to day life is shaken when some of the denizens of her quaint town Celestia begin to disappear, only to be found in the early morning slain by some vicious creature leaving little trace of its intentions behind. On top of all going on in Celestia, a chance meeting with a certain infamous demon hunter causes Lynaria to take a step back from all she's perceived to have known. This causes her to have to open herself to new knowledge of herself as well as the world around her. Will meeting this demon hunter provide the safety she so prays for? Dante has been in the demon hunting business for 15 years and will always jump at the opportunity to help those in need. Taking the least to most dangerous missions, it helps stave off the loneliness he experiences intermittently, exacerbated by the thoughts of failing his brother and mother. One fateful phone call brings him to Celestia, England to face a threat terrorizing the young women of the city. When he crosses paths with an empathetic, reserved young woman, it causes a spark to ignite that he felt had gone out a long time ago. *Set after the events of DMC3 and before DMC1. Naming her stillborn son after her first husband, he breathes his first, impossible breath. In secret, she raises him alone in the woods for 5 short years. Dying with a plea to her child to run and live long, a new legend is set forth in Remnant. One forged in the flames of dark divine, blessed by the demon of death. Can this wayward son of Sparda protect those he cares about? Will he find purpose in life, never surrendering to chaos? Will he find a way to prove his worth to himself and save those he cares for, or will he just be another raging demon, born of tragedy and trauma, fueled by the echoes of blood, death, and darkness?
