Wanderer has taken up Nahida's request to go retrieve a few things from Inazuma, but his original simple plan goes 'off-script' when he's suddenly accused of being an associate of a fugitive. Now he has to deal with an overly carefree mortal and run from the law, again. But maybe it's not so bad.
Won't contain smut/lemon. I will state warnings before chapters, and add other character tags as they arrive in the story. The fic is essentially me being brainrotted enough to be like "what if they actually met in game". (Kazuscara has taken over my life). Also uploaded on AO3

Direct crosspost from Ao3 This is an INTENSELY self indulgent prequel for the events of Monster Hunter World following the life of the Commander. Fic takes place from the First Fleet setting out and covers things like the Celestial Pursuit ending up on a mountain, the Scoutflies, the Seeker peacing out, the Research Base crash landing, and some other stuff I'm forgetting, and ends right before the opening sequence of the game.
