Fragmented is a psychological horror told through the disintegrating journal entries of Maddie, a 17 year old girl institutionalized after years of emotional neglect and domestic abuse. But Maddie doesn't know she's in a psych ward, she thinks she's found a new "family," and she clings to this delusion with fragile desperation. As her grasp on reality deteriorates, her journal becomes a haunting record of confusion, time loops, and vanishing people she swears never existed. Her memories contradict, her thoughts repeat, and her entries slip into chaos as she rewrites reality to avoid the truth. She was abandoned. Fragmented is an unsettling exploration of trauma, repression, and the quiet horror of a mind trying to protect itself by destroying the truth. There's also unhealthy manipulation in the category of romance but it is not that.
