Bucky, Jeff and Knuckles are held in Hydra base. After many escape attempts, they start to lose hope, only for the newly formed Avengers to break in and get them out. Now they have to figure out how to navigate a modern life with old fashioned sensibilities and broken, morphed bodies.
In this version, the Avengers form before "Breakout". Just minus the Hulk. Don't worry, though. He'll appear in later chapters.
