Ada Payne is a young, aspiring reporter from Brooklyn. When she finished school, she moved to London to pursue a degree in Writing and Journalism, seeking independence in a new place, free from the constraints of New York. After working a few jobs as a copyeditor and at a record store, she finally lands a gig as a Junior Assistant at Melody Maker - London's up-and-coming music magazine.
Her first assignment? Liverpool, in 1959. Her whole world is about to change.
