This is what happened to Kai after he departed with the Fire Knight and Guardian Dragon and continued on his own. But it is a twisted story. A Villain Ark I would have liked to see in the shorts. Kai is more broken than evil, but still a monster.

He was force to live off the streets for years but when he came across a kid that remind Kai of the hardship of living on the streets, he just had to take him in as his own brother.
