A new widow, Mrs. Sadie Adler has fallen in with Dutch Van Der Linde and his gang. Learning how to live her new life, she makes quick friends with Arthur Morgan, Dutch's right hand man. They develop a friendship over past trauma and similar experiences.
Overtime, that relationship grows. It becomes more intimate and soon, after a drunken night of partying at the saloon, they become romantically involved. Other gang members are excited for them.
With the gang always moving and going place to place, it strains the relationship between the outlaw and the widow. Will this gang prove to be their downfall? Or will Sadie convince Arthur to leave his long lived days as an outlaw for them?
