It is the year 2054, in Houston, Texas. A time where most white-collar and blue-collar work has disappeared, due to advances in technology, such as artificial intelligence, robots, quantum computers and outsourcing. Jobs are now either short-term tasks, with part-time becoming the new full-time, such as rideshare and food delivery apps, and majority of people either work in the metaverse, or in skilled trades. Also, climate change and global warming as well as sea level rise, gave birth to new industries, while destroying older ones.
Dustin Jones, 27, an HVAC technician, lives with his girlfriend Cecelia Johnson, 24. They seem to have a normal, routine life. One day however, Dustin saves the life of Julia Kilgore, 16; and finds out, that a child predator is trying to abduct and rape teens across the city. She also mentions the same man killed her parents, and she was left to escape. They enlist the help of a police sergeant, Chris Temple, 36, who reluctantly assists in investigating the crime, while also suffering from personal issues. Dustin realizes that in an effort to save Julia, he is putting a lot more at stake, than what he could possibly fathom.

He head to Colorado where the were supposed to be headed, no sign of them. If anyone seen anything, they ain't saying. The MC they were after says they haven't seen them. It's where he meets Tech. He handles the technology and security for the club. He is also tall, dark, smart, and devilish sexy. The type of man Ryder wants and maybe needs. Without any leads or evidence of the militia group ever being there or not. He is ordered to find evidence against the Sons of Silence to force the MC to cooperate. After meeting and starting to fall for Tech, he just can't seem to make he follow that order. Is he going to betray Tech?Concluida

The alien energy weapon killing him is one of the worst visions she finds. Seeing the carnage caused by the aliens in a few weeks is devastating via his vision. She can not imagine standing next to him as it actually happens. His visions point to her, preventing the invasion by magic. But he has centuries of magical experience, so what makes it possible for her and not him? She must quickly discover that uniqueness and use it to create a friendship with the aliens before the world as we know it ends. Caution: there are many sex scenes limited to a sentence or thereabout, suggesting you use your imagination to fill in the details. Finally she lands a new job online, in a virtual reality simulation, but later uncovers with the help of a young man, Jake, that the company she works for could be a central hub for shady, underground, secret activities. The worst part is, people have disappeared under strange, unknown circumstances. Only person she can turn to help at this point is her estranged twin brother, who stopped talking to her years ago. Since then, the worst debtor nations have been under military occupation by the troops of the debt recovery corporations, and the worst debtor of all is Měi-guó, the old United States. Ellie is serving in the Afghan Police Action when she receives bad news from home. She is told the daughter she hasn’t seen in years is dead. She flies home from war, upset, to do what needs to be done, but once there she finds out all is not as it seems. Ellie’s daughter is alive and unhurt. She is being held by of one of the many debt-recovery corporations. Held, for leverage, to make Ellie do the corporation a favour. Ellie’s daughter will be returned unharmed if Ellie does as they wish. The son of a company director is lost somewhere in the wilderness of post-debt-restructuring America, and hasn't been seen for three days. The company wants Ellie to go and find the kid, and Ellie doesn't know if she can. The one rule she's stuck to all her working life is to never to go to America, but now she might have to. She will have to, if she wants to save the daughter she hasn't seen in years.
