It's dark. The floor's cold against my bare legs from the ripped trousers I'm wearing and panic rushed through me with what I hoped not was vomit. I screamed and my lungs started to ache. I was in some kind of elevator with dim lights flickering past. I was so confused by what was happening, more confused about who I am, or was anyway. I couldn't remember anything! My name, family, who I look like, what age I am... I sat in the corner waiting for the elevator to stop or something to happen. I just screamed for help or if anyone knew I was here. Suddenly I felt sleepy and started to drift of, like I was dying, it felt like I was inside...
Ebony is a victim of W.I.C.K.E.D and has been taken into the maze. She falls in love and starts to live a life of a glader.

My heart was pounding, fear taking over my body, I stood up. I was in some sort of room - I think it was a room, if it was a room it was a small room, a very small room. then suddenly the room started to elevate. I fell to my knees, the room was going up so fast, I couldn't get back onto my feet. Where was I going? Was I gonna die? Then it hit me. I don't even know anything about myself, all I know is my name. Ellie. My name is Ellie. But what did I look like? Who are my parents? do I have any siblings? Questions started to fill my mind but then, the room came to a sudden stop. I was sweating. A light turned green and buzzed. A sudden light shone down into the room as the doors to the room opened. hold on, the doors where on top?
