After Pure Vanilla awakens, he returns to his kingdom-only to be met by an unexpected face: a seemingly reformed Shadow Milk. No one knows why Shadow Milk suddenly abandoned the Beasts, but he claims to have changed, begging for forgiveness and a second chance. Pure Vanilla, ever the optimist, believes him.

Before long, the two grow close, and everything seems to be falling into place... that is, if you overlook the disturbing mystery unfolding behind the scenes. Cookies are vanishing without a trace, and despite a string of arrests and evidence that should make sense, the true culprit remains unknown.
