Crippled Dragons never ever get bonded with anyone but when Melanie is accidently bonded with a small crippled dragon named Cedar the mystery begins. Not to mention Melanie is only 15 when your only supposed to be bonded at the age of 18. Is Melanie the only early Dragon Rider or are there more out there somewhere?
Chaz has always been the "special" one. But when Melanie, a minor, and her dragon, a cripple, become even more "special" than him he snaps.
