Olivia Johnson never expected herself to fall for someone so easily. Especially not Joshua Rodriguez, the local prankster and joke. But here she was a couple months later, laughing at his dumb jokes and sharing cotton candy at the county fair-falling harder than she ever meant to.

Now Josh is nowhere to be found. He disappeared. Vanished. The police ruled it a suicide and closed the case.
Now Olivia's different-quiet, closed off, drifting. Josh had been her anchor, and without him, she was in freefall.
Until her mom buys her a new video game for her birthday. A game called the Amazing Digital Circus.
She finds herself stuck in this game with a new name and five other players, but gains interest in someone in particular.
A periwinkle rabbit named Jax.
While trying to hide her scars and solve the mystery of Josh's disappearance, she begins to feel something unexpected for Jax. Something familiar. Something real.

The deeper she falls into this digital world, the closer she gets to a truth she may not be ready to face.
