this is a Hamilton fanfiction, a short story where the ending is a little different from the musical.
it will be told in the prospective of a letter from Hamilton or Burr, to a close friend/their second, before the duel, and the winner's letter after the duel.
this is light HamiltonxBurr, just so you know, I kinda romanticized both men's thoughts before and after the duel (Burr really didn't feel very sorry for what he did. This is based on the musical's version of the duel.)
This is not gonna be great it's kinda just for fun.
