It ruined my life, the sparking currents playing tag in my mind, running around and bumping into everything, shaking me loose. The government, actually. They ruined my life. My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. A Horror Apocalyptic setting where 9 young adults with strange abilities have been kept protected in an underground dome for 20 years. Things have been seeming to go fine but an eerie force has been tunneling through the facility, perhaps warning them, or perhaps luring them to their fate. Accepting the truth about their awful pasts and learning about themselves along the way. A tale of vicious creatures and thrilling adventures, as well as passion, death, and romance. Every step you take could be dangerous. Tread carefully. Everything is intentional Inspired partially by Dante's Inferno and Greek Mythology Dante's Inferno is a story about a man, named Dante, who goes on a journey through the nine circles of hell learning about each of them and finding famous icons within discovering that each circle represents a sin, going down the punishments become worse and horrific based on the intensity of the sin. Although my story is not directly linked to Dante and his journey I have used elements and ideas from the book and game and incorporated them accordingly. A Guide to Being Super
Every city has its claim to fame and for the city of Cytropolis it's their superheroes. But unlike the cities of Gotham and Central City, this isn't a good thing. Cytropolis is known far and wide as the city with the clumsiest and least influential superheroes ever. But it never mattered that much since the super villains were just as bad. That is, until recently when the villains decided to smarten up and open a super villain academy to train the newest generation (something that never occurred to the heroes). Luckily for them, Matt Miller has arrived. He may seem like an average, normal (even bordering on boring) seventeen-year-old boy, but when are things ever what they seem?
