Elaina is your sixteen-year-old geeky girl from Earth, teleported to another world that she's destined to destroy with magic she didn't even know she had. Allegedly, according to her kidnappers. She might set your house on fire when she's angry or accidentally electrocute your dog when shocked, but one thing she sure won't do is go home without learning how to use magic!

She must complete dangerous tasks such as dueling for her life and planting fire-breathing plants as she tries to return home to Earth. With mindreaders, seers, and an immortal being who's supposed to be teaching her but prefers to torment her, Elaina has her work cut out. Not to mention the love triangle that she wants no part of! She'd rather be home eating pizza with her boyfriend, who doesn't know she's an alien.

The last thing she expects to do is save the very woman who kidnapped her, who is her best-and only chance-at returning home.
