Just Like Fire (Ace x Reader)
Modern-ish AU styled after the original One Piece world. You're the blood sister to Sabo, and you get along with your parents as well as Sabo does. After graduating college you move in with your brother and his two "brothers", in a nice house a few islands away from the reach of your family back in the East Blue. Sabo's a lawyer, Luffy's a volunteer fire-fighter and EMT and friends with half the people of the New World. Ace is a full-time fire fighter, part of the multi-division main station in central downtown headed by Edward Newgate and his "sons". Devil Fruit powers exist in this world - but people are born with the ability, and often ostracized by the world at large for being cursed. CW: angst, language, erotic, violence, serial killer, stalking, poisoning, over-bearing controlling parents, attempted forced marriage, possible dub-con, Munchausen by proxy (aka Factitious Disorder)

Tears roll down your cheeks, blurring your vision as you lock eyes with the freckled man you've been dreaming about for the past months. The familiar warmth tingles on your skin as he gently cups your face, his thumb carefully wiping away the tears on your cheek. This one was kinda inspired by goosebumps. There's a haunted element to this book. The reader had her life taken from her a long time ago, and she now has to rely on a pair of brothers to get it back. Newgate family: Thatch, Marco, Whitey Bay, Ace, Sabo, Luffy and Bonney.
