After the first year anniversary of Trollstopia, the trolls think life can't get any better! Brothers and sisters reunited, tribes live in harmony, and everyone is healing from their past.
This peace will be interrupted though, when a new threat from an unknown tribe rises high, for some reason having a beef with this utopian world Poppy and everyone else created.
While Poppy hopes to save her world, an old friend, a traitor and a victim, who's been watching silently from afar how life bloomed without him, decides, that he has to help out as well.

After the World Tour, the 6 tribes are now finally reunite and lived in harmony once again thanks to Queen Poppy, the Queen of Pop. They all celebrated for their reunite for their music together and lived happily peace. But, they didn't know their world is lot, lot, LOT more bigger than they knew after they learn about their ancestors' history. There are more 6 trolls and 6 strings in their world; Pilipino-Pop, Opera, R&B, Rock-Pop, Electronic and Mixed-Genre. After the ancestors learned about their nature including the Rock-pop trolls' violent and crazy behavior. The other 6 trolls separated after their fight about the music.
