Her hands are an earthquake. Shaking, shaking, trembling with words that won't leave the tightness of her throat. She wishes she could be clean. She hopes she could be enough not only for her mother, her friends, or him. For herself. But she knows that as long as she is stubborn, she will always be this way. All she wants is to be good.

He finds out that loving her is waves that push and pull against fixed lands that won't budge, that could never budge. He will soon realize that her words and promises can't ever be enough. He will learn that you can't depend on people to help themselves. But he knows her. He knows her.

They are wrapped in each other trying to stick back together the collaspsing pieces with words that are not spoken, that are slipping through clumsy hands. They are both falling apart for completely different reasons.
