Bruce doesn't think of himself as a horrible person. He knows he's not perfect, but he tries at least. And he likes to believe that has to count for something. He loves his kids, his partner, and the man who raised him more than he knows how to say. That's the problem, really. He just doesn't know how to express it in a way they understand.
I highly recommend that you read this on AO3! It has much better formatting on it. I lwk just copy and pasted everything from there onto here LOL(I also don't know how to tag that well on here...)

What if Superman loved Batman? What if everyone in the tower knew? What if it was because Bruce was his soulmate, but he didn't want to tell Bruce until he felt the same way because he didn't want him to feel obligated to love him back? What if Bruce made a bet with the others in the tower, a bet he thought would be harmless that could either break them both or help them?
