Enemies-to-lovers • slow burn • coffee shop romance with secrets that brew beneath the surface Juniper "Juno" Kline runs Juniper & Co., a cozy little coffee shop tucked into a buzzing Manhattan corner. She's sharp-tongued, fiercely independent, and a master at crafting the perfect drink-especially for her most annoying customer: Alec Stein. Every morning at 6:30 a.m. sharp, Alec strolls in with a smug smile and a vague "my usual." He's arrogant, mysterious, and somehow still charming-even when he's driving her absolutely insane. But Juno has a secret: Alec never actually gets the same drink twice. She's been testing him, watching him, daring him to notice. And one day... he does. Then Alec leaves behind something unexpected: a black leather notebook filled with scribbles, sketches, and observations-about her. Suddenly, their banter isn't just banter. The line between hate and something softer begins to blur. And Juno finds herself wondering if there's more to Alec than sarcasm and tailored suits. But the closer she gets, the more she realizes Alec isn't just a regular customer. He's connected to a past she thought she left behind-and the notebook may hold more than just flirty observations. It might hold the truth.

Synopsis: Orion Westbrook just wants a quiet life. As a barista and certified first-aider, his biggest concerns are keeping the espresso machine working and his plants alive. His sanctuary is The Cosmic Grind, a quirky coffee shop that happens to be located perilously close to the Baxter Building. He's used to superhero shenanigans, but he's not used to them personally ruining his day. Johnny Storm is used to getting what he wants. As the Human Torch, he's used to awe, adoration, and flustered attraction. So when a handsome, unimpressed barista hands him a coffee in a mug labeled DUMBASS and douses him with a fire extinguisher, he's instantly, infuriatingly intrigued. Forced proximity leads to late-night conversations, accidental babysitting of the world's most powerful baby, and a slow-burn connection that threatens to melt Orion's carefully constructed walls. But when a villain's attack forces Orion's latent earth-based powers to awaken, their fledgling relationship is thrown into the spotlight. Can a fiery superhero who loves the spotlight and a grounded barista who hates it find common ground? Or will their different worlds-and the dangers that come with them-extinguish the spark for good?
