Dead Or Alive

"I don't want that Daniel," my voice sounded like I was talking to a three year old. "Why don't we just go back to the beach and talk about what you're going through..."

His head snapped back at an impossible angle and his eyes glowed red, all the while getting bigger and opening wider until it looked like he had never had eyelids to begin with. Blood, not tears started to drip from his eyes as he swivelled his head to face me. His nauseating gaze seemed to suck the life out of me. "They won't let me," he whispered softly then with determination he said, "You don't have a choice. But don't worry, you'll like it here, I promise."

With that he reached over despite my screamed protests, dogged my flailing arms, and ruffly pushed on my left leg. I wobbled on the edge for a few precious seconds. "Daniel help me!" The words tore from my throat. But all he did was look on blankly as my shoe slipped and I fell over the edge into darkness.

Kate had an easy life up until her brother decided he wanted to take a joy ride on his new boat. Trapped on an island somewhere in the Pacific Ocean with only her brothers friends to keep her company, she starts to wonder if there's no escape. Her and the boys try to find Daniel and a way off the cursed island before it becomes too late and the secret that had been kept hidden from Kate and suppressed all these years, threatens to destroy them all.
