Madilyn Millennium comes from a big, broke family. Being the oldest out of five, two brothers, two sisters. Madilyn has a gorgeous voice. The only time she sings, however, is in the shower and when she's alone. Her mother had always told her that she has a gift, but she changes the subject. When Madilyn's mother gets ill and lands in the hospital, she is the one who must take care of her siblings. Being as that they have little money, Madilyn goes out and looks for a job. When she cannot find one, she decides to put her gift into play. She goes to the local park, pulls out her guitar, and sings her heart out.

But there's a slight problem, Daniel Icarus. He's new to the neighborhood and wants to make a living, just like Madilyn. This wouldn't bother her if he didn't come to the same park, and they liked each other. Daniel finds everything about her, including her voice, beautiful. Madilyn finds Daniel to be, now, obnoxious. Daniel desperatly attemps to make her love him, but she hates him.
