Anna Haynes is your normal teenage girl, there is normal about her. With thick black glasses that she hides behind and a laugh that sounds like a guinea pig, she tries to make it in the high school world. She has no intention of dating or falling in love. She simply wants to be the quiet and shy girl in the back of the room, never given a second glance, stuffed inside an over-sized hoodie with her nose in some weird dragon novel. Although her friends know her differently; as the slightly outgoing, slightly violent, and definitely overly protective Anna.
Cameron Hash is one of the sporty nerds, he still manages to stay one of the best players on the soccer team even though he always seems to have his nose stuck in a book or his eyes glued to a screen. He always ridiculed his friends when they went after girls out of their league, imagine their surprise when he starts trying to chase after one of the nerds, a pretty girl with a high IQ that has some hobbies that definitely do not involve shopping.
Both of these teen nerds have large plans for the future, Anna wants to go into engineering, and Cameron is chasing his dream of becoming a computer programmer, Anna and Cam are going to have to deal with being near each other for a while, after all, classes go by last name in alphabetical order. Anna will have to learn how to accept getting a bit more attention than she is used to.
