This is a werewolf story with a twist
Meet Logan knight he hasn't felt the touch of another living creature, on his bare skin since his fourth birthday. At eighteen he is cold, empty and almost always alone. Following years of ridicule and grief from his pack mates for being a burden, who wants an omega in their pack that cannot be touched. His small stature , delicate features and all black wardrobe helps him blend into the shadows and often makes others underestimate him.
Decades before he was born his great, great grandfather made a terrible mistake resulting in him cheating Death. Furious with being cheated out of a soul, Death curses his bloodline making the first born son in every generation, bare the mark that makes them his Reaper. Doomed to bring death with the just a touch of their skin. Each Reaper is also bestowed the responsibility of collecting souls that have escaped judgement and bringing them back to him, by using an array of powers that come with wielding Death's bad ass magical scythe.
Valentino Jackson is the next in line to become Alpha of the Crescent blood moon pack, the fiercest pack in America. He is devastatingly handsome, heroically fearless, and popular after his strict up bringing by his brutal father, he feels more than ready to take over the position at twenty years old, however he can't until he finds his mate. His father has given him an ultimatum find his mate by the time he turns twenty-one or he will force a mating between Valentino and the annoying Kathryn Meadows who is Alpha Byron's daughter, whose pack is currently not allied with theirs.
