*Cover is a work in progress* Book one of The Worshipper's Trilogy: REVERENCE of the Forgotten At the edge of the town of Khirene, at the step of a small well-tended church, a soft knock sounded on wood. When the elderly priest shuffled to the door, upon opening it he discovered only a babe swaddled carefully, lying in a basket and staring up at him in silence. The little one was taken in and raised by the few remaining members of the church. He never once smiled, laughed, nor even cried. He took part in every aspect of the church, though he never attempted to speak with its chosen god during the nightly prayers as the others did. Instead, he picked a different one each night, silently reaching out to them and waiting for just one to answer. Then one night, still early into his teenaged years, something reached out for him first. It whispered in his ears, quiet and oh-so-alluring. It gave him its name and as it slipped from his own lips, something long forgotten was granted entrance back into the world. From then on, he spent every night devoting his prayers to that single entity, but both man and God soon began to wish for a worship of more than mere words. © All Rights Reserved

Sacrifice

(Dev x Boosfer x Vitjok) Dev is chosen as a sacrifice to their god... but is this god real? Dev is left alone, and Dev isn't quite sure this god is real. Maybe it is wild animals that take care of the sacrifices. That is, until someone approaches. Something neither human nor animal. This was otherworldly. Dev is scared. He is going to die. In an attempt to escape and return to his village, his best friend Kier wants to help him escape the thing following him. It spirals and takes a turn. Dev is taken by the god he had been sacrificed to, but something is not right... First, he isn't dead yet. Second, this god was not alone. Both gods take a liking to him, but in completely different and terrifying ways. Note that if the ColorCrew dislikes my work, I will yeet this book down -Davii
