First 3 chapters have been rewrote. Its modern day, and the world has changed drastically. The old kingdoms now longer exist and the heavens are no longer as closely tied to the earth as they once were.The holy knights have ceased to exist, they are no longer even mentioned in the history books. The seven deadly sins are just sins in the christian religion. Except, in one family, an old story book is passed down through the Liones family, from parent to child. It tells the story of the seven deadly sins and their friend Elizabeth, and how they saved the kingdom from the corrupt holy knights. The book has come into possession of 17 year old Elias Liones, great descendant of Elizabeth Liones and King Arthur, and he has discovered that the world is in need of the Seven Deadly Sins once more. Elias summons Meliodas from hell and the two go and seek the reincarnations of the other sins. Along the way, feelings develop, questions are asked, secrets are revealed and old friends are found.

The Seven Deadly Sins, a group of knights from Liones who banded together in Britannia's darkest hour to defeat the Ten Commandments with the help of Drole and Gloxinia. Once the war is over, Drole and Gloxinia decide to stay with the sins and return to the tavern that Meliodas still runs. In the far kingdom of Medora, a young woman watches her mother take her last breath, sending her away with instructions to find the Seven Deadly Sins, as she has a crimson beast on her skin. When she does find them, she discovers more about herself in her time with them than she ever knew when she with her mother and sister in their castle.

Diane regains her memories of King and is nervous to tell him due to fear that he's moved on from her. On top of that the 10 commandments have returned to Britannia and the sins are thrown into war which only complicates everything. Throughout it all, the two sins remain determined to keep each other safe. This will closely follow the basic plot/events of "revival of the commandments" but will still be heavily different in the specific story.
