Welcome to the 200th annual hunger games. One hundred years after the original ultimate games, it is time to do it again. Six tributes from each district will be reaped. Districts 1-4 will have a games, districts 5-8 will have one, and districts 9-12 will have one. Eight finalists from each game will then compete in one ultimate game. Seventy-two tributes go in, only one comes out.

Vivus Redis, a seventeen year old boy from district 13, is being reaped. Will he survive and see his best friend and family again? Or will he die a horrible death in the arena? And what's up with all these mockingjay symbols? "Why?!", yells Res as she enters the room. "I told you to not do that! I told you that over and over again!" Tears start rolling down her face again, washing away dust and dirt. I don't know what to say, it's like I don't have a voice anymore, so I just stand up and go to her. Akiria Cordella." I slowly made my way through the crowed and into the isle having to peel my own hand away from my best friend. Every step felt like my legs where made of iron. I ascended the steps to meet Cachinn. "Hello dear." She motioned me to stand behind her. Cachinn returned to the mic with the male's tribute name. "And our male tribute for district one is... Enzo liner." Not my best friend! -- This was it. Their names where drawn for the sacrifice. Panem needs an example and they are it. Brother and sister in the fight to death as punishment for something their father did. A band of kids fight to the death in order to survive. Only one must exit but at what cost. At what cost would they risk everything to save two? This is the 73rd hunger games. May the odds be ever in your favor.
