When Serena and her friends find out that they possess the ability to control the elements of earth, they find themselves faced with having to make a decision that will forever change their futures. Faced with the power to control lightning, along with any other form of electricity for that matter, Serena must learn to hone her powers. However, rather than choosing the options their parents provided her and her friends, to go to camp and be taught to control their powers, or wear pendants that will absorb their magical energy and keep it at bay, these teenagers create their own choice. To run away. With their families safety in mind and the desire to discover their powers true potential, Serena and her friends choose to leave everything they've ever known behind and set out to discover lands unknown. Little do they know, their journey will be far more dangerous than they had anticipated, with mysterious perils waiting for them at every twist and bend in the road. Will these teenagers be able to overcome the odds and help rid the world of the evil's threatening it, or will they be doomed to a fate worse than death?
