Four tight walls enclose my body. I am limited to the space of a small box. Inside it is dark. The ceiling forces my neck to bend at the most awkward angle. My legs squeeze into my rib cage and my lungs have adapted to the lack of air. The floor is cold like ice on my pale skin. My bones pull my skin tight around them like a freezing child pulls a coat around their shivering soul. My hair lays in blonde tangled knots. It's straight and long. The strands reach from the tip of my head to the bone on my hip. My clothes lay like silk draped lazily around the fragile body I call mine. I've never actually seen my face. Im stuck to observe my body from what I can see. Now don't mistake me for a stupid girl. I've seen other people. Not in person, but somehow, in the back of my mind, I know so much more than most.

I can't stop thinking about you. Your laugh, your smile, your voice. How you manage to pull a joke at a time like this, to how peaceful, and beautiful you look when you're sleeping." I smile. How will she deal with the new turn of events and how her life has been turned completely upside down. Especially when she was convinced that she would only focus on school, something that is now so far down on her list of important things to worry about, that she barely even remembers to show up to class. INSIGHT ON MAI DIARY
The "Please..." I hear her whimper and I go into full panic mode. "Calm down, okay? Deep breaths. Don't hang up. I'll be with you soon. Where are you?" I rush as I grab the car key sitting on the glass table. I run into the garage with my dad behind me. "What do you need?" Dad asks "A room. A big one." He runs back inside as I hear her voice again. "Basement...blood...Elle..." I hear sounds of movement in the background and connect the dots. Elle's bleeding, or something... "Deep breaths baby, deep breaths. It's okay, you're okay" I murmur reassuring words to her, thankful that there's no traffic. Several thoughts run through my mind as I drove to her house. The last time we spoke, she could barely stand me, but now she's calling me. I feel kinda used, but now's not the time to think about that. I reach her house in a matter of minutes and shove the door open. The house is quiet, save for my heavy breathing and footsteps. I reach the basement and take in the sight in front of me. I shut my locker and started making my way towards my next class . I was already late and the hallway was almost empty . I picked up my pace . Suddenly a loud thump came from behind me and an immense crushing pain seared through my back . I was slammed in the lockers . I closed my eyes from the sudden contact and pain . Opening my eyes I groaned . The breathe left me all at once . He was the one who pushed . His eyes held so many emotions . anger , hatred and betrayal . It pained me to see that I was the cause of them . Suddenly his fist came flying with full force towards my face and my eyes widened at the thought that he was going to hit me . I closed my eyes waiting for the impact but instead of breaking my face he punched the locker inches away from my face putting a dent on it . He smirked at me . All the colors drained from my face . " What did you thought that no one will know who you are ?" The moment the words left from his mouth I stiffened . He knew . Oh my god ! He knew ! His smirk even widened more when he saw the emotion in my eyes . Intense fear . I'm screwed . He pushed me more against the locker . It hurts in my back so much . A tear escaped from my eye and he smiled like he was enjoying it . " I know who you are and I'm going to make it hell for you , Emma." He said while clicking my name . He spoke with so much hatred and anger that it sent fear to the cores of my body . He once again slammed his fist in locker making the dent more visible and walked away leaving me in the fear. .................... Emma Parker , a 17 years old girl . She is a chocolaty brown eyes brunette. She is running from the scars that her past life gave her. Running from everything she knew . In my nightmares I am trapped on a mental ward. I can't move my hands without feeling the restriction of the straps. My head is as clear, no trace of the "madness." I strain against the black polyester with every ounce of strength and still I can't budge. My back hurts right to the base of my spine. Saliva is pooling in the back of my mouth. The staff have gone. I am alone. My heart pounds, ready to explode; my eyes scan left and right for signs of someone coming to help. No-one. I look up at him, his face nothing but a hazy memory. His head is tilted down towards me and I think about how odd it must be for him too. If we kissed, would we find each other's lips? Would it be as natural as breathing? He's mere inches from me and just the presence of his body is suffocating. I don't even have to see his face to know how well he makes my body react. Goosebumps trickling down my arms, and the hairs on the back of my neck rising like sunflowers facing the sun. It's as if I can really see his face. His features and the looks he gives. It's so familiar, so in-tune with me, that I feel like I've always seen it. I can feel his eyes set on me, my figure under his gaze. I can feel the tension in the air and I'm not even sure if I'm breathing. "That necklace around your neck," he scoffs. "What about it?" I ask, my voice low. "I've seen it every single time I've seen you and it drives me insane. It's the one thing I can see below your face." Something clicks into place for me. The puzzle pieces align, and I feel alive. "Then take it off and put your hand there, I can wear that instead," I grin. __ Scarlett Moore. The wooden floorboards creak underneath my footsteps as I walk down the abandoned hallway, my flashlight swinging back and forth in front of me. The cold air from the hallway seeps through my already wet cold clothes, making me shiver. I'm almost at the end of the hallway when I see a door on my left. I stop and stand in front of it. I place my hand on the doorknob and twist it open. I let my eyes adjust to the darkness, finally I see what's in the room. A scream of terror erupts from my throat. My body freezes itself as I stare at the hanged corpse of one of my friends.--------------------Think about this: What do you think will happen when 100 passengers crash land on an abandoned island and only 8 survive.
