The sound of the doorbell being rung distracted Alec from his daily reading.

"I'm staying with you."

Said a little girl in front of his door, carrying a backpack on her shoulders, looking at his face with expectant eyes.

Oh no! Summer vacation has begun. For any child who lived in a boarding school, it would be like a miracle. But for the Demon child; Fiore, surprisingly, it isn't. While all the students could see their parents again after a long time, for her having to do that was like a curse. 2, almost 3 years of 0 contact with her stupid and good-for-nothing parents,and although she had already done this before in those two previous years, Fiore just hoped that as always they wouldn't come. She never had someone to spend her summer vacation with before, her parents said they would come for her but they always left her to her fate for some or other cheap excuse so as not to see her. And she was fine with that, only there was one problem.

She had enough of having to stay in the care of the Mother Superior every summer, locked up on that campus for two months until the holidays came to an end. She wanted and deserved to have some fun too!

But then, she remembered something, or rather, someone.

Alec could give her a home until she had to return.

It was the perfect plan, she could have fun and still spend time with her true platonic father figure, even if she didn't say it out loud.

Goodbye to her stupid parents, hello to Alec!

He wouldn't expect a little gremlin to show up in front of his library door, since they didn't have tutoring sessions due to summer break. However, a little company on his break wouldn't hurt, the two of them would be able to spend quality time together as father and daughter. Great, right?

It was going to be a very long vacation, also somewhat chaotic and fruitful, the girl would make sure of that. Summer was just beginning!
