Sitting still. No movement.
It came easy. Too easy.
Giavanna stayed out of everyone's way.
The type of person who stayed unnoticed. Go to school, go to work, go home.
Nothing in between.
Barely there.
she was just existing, not living.
sitting at home, studying at school, quiet at work. No movement.
Just get through the days.
Until she meets him.
Like a hurricane that swept through, nothing was still. Everything spinning and moving, rapid pace.
With him, her world shifted, life began to move quickly.
Because of him, she couldn't sit still anymore. There was life to live more than outside of her little bubble.
She felt.....restless.

"Why can't you sleep?" I ask a simple question. Silence, it only lasts a minute or two but feels like ages. "Because everytime I close my eyes I see you leaving my bed in the middle of the night, I hear you breathing through the telephone, your silence when I tell you that I love you. Prologue A long time ago, there was a girl with her short height who always spent her break time the same way quietly tucked away in her secret place under the tree, reading her notes. "I think this belongs to me," he says, tone sharp but quiet. No accusation. Just fact. I don't respond. Just watch as he slips it into his pocket, like closing a door I wasn't supposed to open. He looks at me for one long second, jaw clenched. "Go home," he says again, this time like a warning. And this time, I believe him. He crushes the cigarette under his boot, turns his back, and walks down the alley, leaving me standing in the dark. - Lily didn't ask to be assigned to him.
