Restrict. Binge. Repeat. That was all she knew. That was all she did. And she wasn't planning on stopping anytime soon. --- Sunny, a seventeen-year-old girl, hummed to herself quietly as she took out a stick of gum. Her black earbuds emitted music as she searched up the calories to the candy her mom gave her earlier. She tilted her head as she saw the number. It was workable. She wouldn't go over her calorie limit. She put her phone away, and for a moment, for a stilling moment... she wondered if this was the pain she'll have to deal with forever just to be skinny. . . . Diana is falling apart at the seams. After she graduates high school, her parents kick her off their insurance and, no longer able to afford her medication for her bipolar disorder, turns to street drugs as a relief. Nobody in her life is in a rush to get her out of it. Then she overdoses. She ends up in a hospital, because she's terrified if she doesn't, she'll go to jail. While she's there, Diana meets a number of women who have all been abandoned to the system like her, and people she would normally hate become close, if temporary, friends. With their help, recovery doesn't seem so far away, after all.
