❝ I can't stand the way that she looks at me. Not when I remember the way she used to. ❞
⭑.⊹₊★₊⊹.⭑{SDV: Haley X Fem!Reader}
It's not often that Pelican Town draws in a visitor. It's even rarer that one of those visitors is there to stay for all of summer. Not like it was your choice. With a newly signed lease that doesn't start until mid-August and the lease of your current apartment coming to an early end due to "disagreements" with your landlord, you had to scramble for a place to stay for a few months. It's been years and years since you've even visited, but you have a few friends out in that small town by the ocean. Only a few faces remember you by now. And one of those faces surely remembers, but not fondly. After leaving the town years ago without resolving some unfinished business between the two of you, Haley could not be dreading your stay more than she already is. Maybe there's something there that you can fix, or maybe it would be better to leave it alone for good.

The Anti-Social Social Club [Sebastian Stardew Valley x Female Player] by thatscalledyes
45 parts Complete Mature
"I'd met my match with Sebastian. He was just as much of a loner as I was-maybe even more. We were the only two members of the anti-social social club. It met every Wednesday: under the covers of Sebastian's bed." Stella's memory of Stardew Valley isn't the greatest and she swore she'd never return. But when her father wants to sell her grandfather's farm, Stella reluctantly agrees to buy it off him, afraid that her memories of the valley will disappear altogether if she lets it slip away. As she returns to Pelican Town, the gaps in her memory start to revive as she meets new faces, and reunites with old ones. Her first friend is the extroverted, blue haired Emily, who becomes Stella's key insight into the lives of her neighbors in Stardew Valley. Her first crush is the easy-going, adorably clueless skateboarder, Sam, who she runs into on her very first full day in the valley. Sam is everything Stella is not, and maybe he's what she needs-someone to counteract her melancholic, reclusive personality. But when she meets his dark haired, moody and pessimistic friend Sebastian, who is the complete opposite of Sam, she becomes enthralled with him, wanting to crack through his tough exterior to see what lies beneath. Sebastian is everything she wants, but knows she doesn't need. She knows how he is, because she is the same way. He's like a carbon copy of herself and that only intrigues her more. She knows he's like poison, but the way he makes her feel becomes like an addiction.

"I may not remember much, but I do know that I had the best time with you last night." Charlie drops his hand from his mouth and lifts his head to stare into my eyes, pushing his hair back from his face at the same time. "And I know this is awkward now, because I'm pretty sure we were both naked together in bed last night..." I choke on air, trying to dispel the imaginary object from my throat. Charlie reaches out and lightly grasps my hand; my eyes slide from our interlocked fingers to his shining pupils. "...but I still wouldn't change a single thing about it. So, I really do look forward to hearing from you later, Kaiydeen." It's like I've been taken hostage by his electric stare. I don't want to look away. I never want to look away. The busy noises of the street and the honking of the traffic fade as I lose focus, nothing strong enough to force my attention away from this boy. Finally, Archer loudly clears his throat as he flings his door open and plops into the car with a huff, breaking the trance between the two of us. I look away as I withdraw my hand from his grasp, trying to figure out what the hell just happened. This is going to be a long 6 months. ●●● Kaiydeen has always known what she wanted, more like who, but she never knew exactly how to get it. So she's complacent with biding her time until it, actually he, comes to her; no matter how long that takes. But then one day she crashes into someone she doesn't expect. Someone that has always had an eye for her, and he isn't satisfied with biding his time until she's his. But when the one person she's always wanted admits he wants her, too, she's forced to make a choice. Should she go for the boy she just met or the boy she's always known? There is some use of mature language in this story, so if your eyes are innocent and you want them to stay that way this might not be the story for you. Credit to @slueths for the incredible cover!!

"The moon's really beautiful, if you think about it," I blurted. "Yeah?" he asked, mild amusement and curiosity mingling in his voice. "Yeah," I confirmed. "It's just- there's something about the moon that's ethereal. I don't really know how to describe it, but it's a constant in life. You can't always see it, but you have to trust that it's out there somewhere. And when you can see it, it's all bright and shiny and overcomes the darkness." I paused, searching for the right words. "I don't know. I guess it's a reminder that there are good things out there, even if you can't see them... And it's cool to think that someone hundreds of miles away is staring at the exact same moon as you. It makes me feel not so alone in life." Turning my head, I saw him staring at me intently with a thoughtful look on his face. "Too deep for a Friday night?" I laughed nervously, feeling my face grow hot. And this was precisely why I didn't go to parties. He shook his head and seemed to snap out of his daze. "It was deep in a good way." *** SHE was quiet & left out. "That was ages ago, how do you still remember that?" "Because when I walked into that room, I was mesmerized by the image of you. That was the most beautiful sight I have seen in my entire life. A moment so special it made all of my senses come to a standstill. I just couldn't look away. If I had snapped a photo of you back then, you probably would have thought I was an odd one, so I didn't. But god, I wish I had. I remember walking back into my room that evening and cursing my hands for not being able to draw. If I ever learn how to-which I will-that memory will be the first thing my pencil will mimic on paper." • 𖤝 • Daisy had her life back in order-or so she deluded herself into thinking-until one reckless mistake has her spiraling out of control again. A short story about a villainess girl who had gained knowledge of her fate. She didn't changed anything and had accepted her fate. Her 'henchmen' as a voice called them, are her precious friends. She knew of what their fate was and has warned them again and again for them to avoid it. ♧♤♧♤ "Just what is real Love?" a whisper of a girl. Images of her friends faces full of despair flashes her mind." Why must we keep on chasing after their shadows when we know that we are not their desiried person?" Years later, friends who are worried about her asked why she held so much sorrow and longing towards the person she's marrying in the future. " A foolishness that I had done causes me to lose all. I give everything for him and just have nothing to receive in return. You, my friends please remember my words. Don't be ruled by jealousy and see the real self of the person you're with. My sorrows and melancholy, hope you won't experience them." ♧♤♧♤ Author's note: This story was in my drafts for quite a while(they are flooding at my notebooks/journals and drafts in wattpad). It a waste that I might forgot the plot and all so here it is. Mainly I don't have much time (mostly procrastinating ) and I have lot of novels to catch up. So... this novel might not have decent updates that it might be on par with on hold/on hiatus stories. I just felt wasted on leaving it rot like some of my old stories. Again I don't own my book cover picture. Salute to people who have amazing talents. Status: Complete
