After moving to Italy from Miami-Dade County, Lilia Moretti is known as the sweet, soft-spoken sister of the seven Moretti brothers. She didn't know they existed, but she was ready to get away from her own battels; abuse, betrayal, and the aching loneliness of her abusive mother. To them, she is Sorellina-their little one, their heart, their secret favorite. But while her brothers fight to protect the family name and uphold the Mafia, they needed to protect Lilia from all the dangers that come with it.

Lilia Moretti doesn't speak of what happens at home. She can't. So she swims-every morning, every evening-into the waves that never ask her questions. Her seven brothers call her Sorellina, their little sister, fragile and sweet. But they don't see what the ocean sees: a girl slowly unraveling beneath the surface.

In the stillness of the shore and the silence of the sea, Lilia holds onto her last breath of freedom. But as truths begin to rise like tides, the waves may carry more than just secrets-they might bring the Moretti family to its knees.

Seven brothers. One sister. A love they couldn't speak-and a pain they never saw coming.

Kendall Rossi isn't your average thirteen-year-old girl. At the young age of five her brothers dropped her off at an old orphanage which they claimed would be way safer and more practical than living with them and their Italian mafia problems. That wasn't the case. For years Kendall was switching from foster family to foster family. Some were sweet, some just needed the cash, and some had awful intentions. Like Gaston Tremblay, her current foster father. A couple years after the Rossi brothers left Kendall, they realized how much they craved and needed the little girl's bubbly and joyful personality in their life. They spent three full years trying to find Kendall but there was no trace of her. They eventually gave up and adopted a little girl around the age of eleven who would have been two years older than Kendall at the time. May, the little girl did help tie the broken family together, but it still wasn't the same, but they learned to cope and almost fully erased Kendall out of their lives. Until Alessandro Rossi the eldest of the brothers received a shocking phone call that would soon change their lives.
