Led by Captain Barnacles, a haunted ex-Special Boat Service commander carrying the weight of three lost souls, this crew of military specialists and reformed criminals must navigate more than just crushing depths and hostile waters. Each rescue mission, from collapsing ultra-deep mining platforms to weaponized sea creatures, reveals another piece of a terrifying conspiracy that reaches the highest levels of the GDF itself.

As exotic bioweapons emerge from cancelled black projects and "natural" disasters strike with surgical precision, the Octonauts discover they're not just saving lives, they're being used as pawns in a game whose stakes threaten all life on Earth.
