Her mom, Queen Glory, never has time for her and her father. Well, her fathers a whole different story. He's so annoying and pesky and strange. And when she tries to make friends, they all hate her for being a hybrid RainWing NightWing.
But when Jade Mountain opens up on her tenth birthday, she is given an unexpected gift.

Now, she can make new friends and have some actual fun.

Things are going great on Pyrrhia, the founders of Jade Mountain have gave chances for younger dragonets to enroll in their now few years old school. Things seem great, until a battalion of HiveWing soldiers invade Pyrrhia and threatens their safety as Queen Wasp demands ruling rights over Pyrrhia. Toucan is a young RainWing with anger issues, and he takes this as a perfect opportunity to try and manage his disorder and make new friends. Dusky never wanted to go to school, he wanted to be in close proximity with his adoptive mother; Luna, after his own mother died in an unfortunate accident. He is scared of what might happen next if he ever sets talon in a new place he has no experience in, and he questions his own safety as a swarm of HiveWing soldiers invade Pyrrhia. Bumblebee was always ecstatic about school, she was always looking forward on making new friends, but after hearing an ominous prophecy from Fate Claws she starts to realize her life was at stake. Fate Claws was a normal NightWing with nothing more special than having the powers of foretelling to future, and prophecy powers. She was born under a blue moon, and she never really thought much of it until she starts seeing weird dragons that her other clawmates can't see. One of the dragons might be the one that seals their fate. Tiger realizes he was dead, and there was nothing left for him to accomplish. He had betrayed Wasp after all. But it was for a good purpose, was it? Now, he wanders the continents knowing that no one would be able to see, or hear him - then he stumbles upon a very NightWing dragonet who might be the only one who could ever see him.

Lavender is an seven year old dragonet who belongs to both tribes. She's a hybrid, born from her RainWing mother and NightWing father. Her life is wonderful, at least in her family and small village close to the edge of the Rainforest. But, she's starting to notice the change within everyone, as if they know something is coming, something bad. Lavender wants to keep her kingdom safe, just like all dragons do, but she also wants to keep everyone connected and stop them from being torn apart. Will she be able to fix the ties that brought the RainWing's and NightWing's together? Or will they be split apart and she'll be stuck between torn sides. ------------------------ The Wings of Fire series is written by Tui T. As time goes on Tsunami becomes worse and worse, to the point to where Clay can no longer ignore it and pretend everything's fine. But how can he stop Tsunami and be her friend at the same time? Would he have to choose one or the other? Turtle was always just a nobody in the sea. Then out of of blue Turtle loses his mother and father in one day, and his new sister, Tsunami, who seems to have popped out of nowhere, becomes the queen of the SeaWings. He was almost certain that she had some kind of evil inside her, but who would stop her, where was the hero? Turtle didn't know until he met and saved someone, who told him he was the hero. But can a nobody orphan really be a hero? Expect Tsunami and other character to act differently, but they will mostly be themselves (besides Tsunami).
