I was so bored in history as I was drawing a landscape before the bell rang, signifying that it was time to switch classes. I stood slowly and put my various school supplies into my bag before exiting the classroom. I started to slowly walk to the cafeteria while looking around the courtyard of the campus. I noticed a few strange people that looked like they were already dressed up for halloween even though it was months away. Checking the time, I realized I was slightly late meeting my friend in the lunchroom. I picked up my pace and entered the cafeteria to see my best friend sitting at our regular table.
"Hey Paypay," I greeted as I sat next to her.
"Don't call me that, it's weird. And you're late," she said with a weird look.
"But what's the fun in that?" I laughed, ignoring the second part.
"Hey peyton? Did you see any weird people dressed as zombies outside in the court yard today?"I asked as we walked up to the lunch line.
"No? Halloween is months away, why would people be dressing up?" payton asked in confusion as she looked at me.
"Yeah you right sorry I just saw some pretty weird things on my walk over." I said grabbing a tray before putting some food on it.
"Are you sure you're not just imagining it because of your weird Halloween obsession?" Peyton asked.
"Ok i do not have a weird Halloween obsession." i said glaring at my friend as we began walking back to our table.

Story starts right after the incident at Hershel's barn but does not follow the story line of the show after that. The main character is a young woman named Nora who at first has developed feelings for Glenn after he was the one who helped get her out of the city. When she realizes she's held on to her feelings too long, she quickly starts to feel lost. Nora is somewhat of a trouble magnet but most of all she just wants to find her place in this new world. Along the way, she finds comfort in an unlikely person. (I do not own the original art for the cover) {I started this story back in December 2011 on Tumblr and although it didn't get the fan following that I had always hoped for, it did well in it's own way. It had loyal followers and I got comments on how much readers loved it. I thought I would try posting it on Wattpad to see what becomes of it. The story is completed on Tumblr and as I bring it over here, I'm also doing small rewrites to the story. There are scenes that I needed to cut out and change up just because my view of things has changed as well and I wanted this story to reflect that. Apart from some of the arguments that'll break out but you can only expect that when strangers take shelter together. Y/n was a survivor of the city, brought in by Glenn. You were thankful for the kindness from the stranger but the same behavior wasnt shared from the rest of the group. Supplies are tight and tension gets high everytime a newcomer is brought in. The Dixon brothers dont miss a beat to make sure and cause a scene, going on and on about supplies and how thin we are stretched. The speeches have droned on but no one listens to them, especially when they come from a couple hillbillies.
