Alora Muriel Villamor is the epitome of passion and strength - captain of the university's elite swim team, and a rising star in the demanding world of Architecture. Her name inspires admiration, but behind the applause lies a silent battle with grief, expectations, and sacrifices no one else sees. On the other hand, Antonio Dion Montecillo was born into privilege - the heir to a legacy built on power and prestige. He already knew where life was expected to take him. Yet despite having everything, there's one thing he desperately wants: to find purpose on his terms. When their paths collide under crashing waves and fading lights, what began as a fleeting encounter transforms into something deeper. They survived the tides of college, the storms of family, and the waves of self-doubt.

For the booksmart yet naïve 16-year-old Nicky, high school in her quaint little hometown island in the Philippines had always been predictable. Until that senior year. Nicky thought she got things all figured out. She'd be very good at school and be the valedictorian of the single-section class of 2010 of the highly looked-up science high school in their island. And then, she'd get a full scholarship to her dream university. All was fairly well except for a few things like grappling her feelings towards a long-time crush. Just when Nicky thought she could get through high school without too much boy-drama, a somewhat seemingly love life with a boy or two and suddenly, maybe even three was finally catching up with her during the last few months before high school graduation. She had never thought she could be wrong about a person. And that she could always be wrong about boys... ✨✨✨ Sidenote: I wrote this from November 2010 to April 2011, only a year ahead from the time set in the novel. This was fully uploaded on Wattpad in September 2013 for safekeeping. I hadn't gotten back to it in so many years nor find any means and time to promote it. This had long been completed but still needs edit. Enjoy reading! Cheers! P.S. This is not exactly a love story. And yet, it may read a lot like it.
