Ulalume is a dragoness running a secret orphanage and refuge for dragons escaping the war and lately there's been a problem in the area. Particularly, a group of half-vampire dragons are trying to take the territory by knocking Ulalume's position out. By accident trying to handle these males, Ulalume comes face-to-face with a notorious dragon warrior named Kincaid, nicknamed 'demon on the battlefield'. Making a deal because it increases his chance of a fight, Kincaid follows Ulalume onwards to her home... but the more things happen, the more the pair start to realise they might have feelings for one another, which can only lead to trouble for them both.
