Within this realm 'Vorne' that lives contemporary to the world as we know it, exist spectral warriors known as 'Ritter'. Sakido Ikakuro, unknown to him, was the unfortunate victim of his parent's assassination at an age nearly too young to conceive the pain of such an act. Little did Sakido know how influential his parents were to Vornen history, as well as his own identity. Now banished to the corporeal realm 'Parvulia', his life is fictitiously repaired until a strange girl appears in his home, speaking of being sent from the very figure that rid him of his only two ties to Vorne.
