Elian Kael never believed that there was anything special about him, not until a strange symbol burned into his skin and shattered everything he thought he knew. 

Now dragged into Nexus Academy, a hidden school where gifted teens train to fight deadly creatures through portals, Elian is forced to uncover powers he never imagined.

But something about him doesn't add up. Summoned 2 years later than everyone else, marked by a headmaster's strange interest, Elian feels like a glitch in a system built on secrets. 

Thrown into a world he knows nothing about, a world of dangerous missions, rival sections, and impossible expectations, Elian will have to decide who he can trust-and what he's willing to risk-before the truth about him destroys everything.
