Elena Swan, youngest swan daughter. unlike her sister when their parents split she chose to stay with her father. she bubbly, social and creative. the complete opposite of Bella. part of the cheersquad and overall friendly, but she only really close to Jacob Black. her childhood friend who was constantly by her side and always keeping her out of trouble. life was simple for her, peaceful. but she had a secret, she wasn't human....not exactly. she was messing around with a old witchy type book and discovered she had....abilities. she kept them hidden. but with her sister returning to forks she has a feeling things are going to take a turn for the weird and dangerous. she discovers vampires and werewolves are real and her and her sister are in the middle of it all..
and then of course she had to meet Paul lahote. complicated on top of complicated.
