In a postmodern world, there is no such thing as surprise anymore, it's 2100 and people are no longer the only humans roaming the earth. Morphs are human like creatures, that much as their names tell, change their shapes. Shifting between different bodies every day. Changing appearance every day. Because of that they need help of humans, they need them to charge up their energy, and humans can provide that with just a touch. It might seem simple at first but human charger is carefully picked and must help the assigned morph whether they want or not.
Aleksandra Hayes is a 20 year old girl, finishing up her university degree, when she gets assigned as a charger. Now she has to obey to the rules and help a morph, but she hates and fears them from the bottom of her heart. Deciding it's best to obey the law and "help" the morph, she goes and meets her match. Kai Vesperia, a tall dark haired morph, with scars all over his face. Already decided, that she wants nothing to do with him, they agree to meet up for a charge once a week without getting attached.
Kai Vesperia, 21 year old morph has trouble controlling his constant shifts in morphs. There are multiple, in fact he switches between 14 different bodies every day. Meeting Aleksandra presents an opportunity, a last resort to help him with his morphing. But she wants him nowhere near her. Exhausted and desperate for her love he is ready to do just about anything, even if it means leaving her alone.
Navigating trough hate and fear, Aleksandra and Kai face a lot of difficulties, especially because she is determined to not let him close. All those walls she keeps setting up, keep getting collapsed and she realises that Kai might not even be as bad as she signed him off to be. After all they are in some way connected and fate never makes mistakes.

The Darkness in the Light

I jumped to my feet and punched him in the side. There was hardly an effect. "You're weak" he spat, walking a step closer towards me. I growled as I had had it with this blood sucking devil! My blue eyes fumed in anger as my wolf was released. I am a white wolf. Liam's eyes bulged as he saw my true form. He then smiled ready to fight. I lunged for the bastard, knocking him to the ground. His other minions rushed towards me all attaching me at once. I attempted to fight against them. They kept coming on me and it was becoming too much for me to handle. My fur had gone from a snowy white, to a bloody reddish color. So much blood. I laid down. Maybe just a minute of rest. I saw Liam walk up to me. He looked down at me and smiled. "What's wrong little wolf? No more energy?" He smirked. Then Liam was suddenly thrown to the damp ground by something, a jet black wolf with glowing red eyes. He was beautiful with his gleaming coat and strong legs. The black wolf left Liam on the ground and fiercely killed all of Liam's minions easily. He wasn't finished with his prowl, he turned back to face Liam but realized that the pureblooded vampire had already run off. Then I hear a deep growl.
