27 June 2025 report post hard-cuffing incident the weekend prior to Memorial Day weekend when one officer got demoted just as she made bias slurs then proceed to do an illegal search of property; jacking me of a pair of Nike the inner wall on each ankle got ripped when removing them off my feet. Fateful
Pulling my phone out, I checked the Caller ID. It was a number not saved in my phone but it was also a Minnesota number, someone from back home. Cautiously, I answered the phone. "Hello?" The phone was silent on the other end as I heard shuffling in the background but no answer. "Hello?" My voice more stern and annoyed. Why fucking call someone if you're not going to speak? "Nixon Pierce?" I hate when people use my first fucking name, it's so cringy. "This is Detective Tia Fletcher, with Rochester P.D. Do you remember me? I was the detective on your case." She questioned me but I had already remembered her from the name. "I was the detective who visited the hospital around the time your twins were born..." Detective Fletcher trailed off. I rolled my eyes, annoyed that this lady pops up at all the wrong times. "Yeah, I remember who you are." My voice was monotone. "Why are you calling me? I'm on my honeymoon." I'm not usually the type to make a rash decision. I'm the one that usually sits back and laughs my head off at the stupidity of today's generation. I'm the one that pulls her phone out when I see someone make a complete and utter fool of themselves in hopes of blackmailing them in the future. It's not necessarily nice, but it always works to my advantage. I never bothered caring how the others must have felt because I was not the one acting like an idiot. I never in a million years imagined I would be stuck in such a sticky situation. But quite frankly, I was just having such a bad day. All I wanted was a simple nap. Is that so much to ask for? A simple nap to cure one's rage after dealing with BS all day. No right?
