wouldn't be as predictable as he thought it was going to be.
It's not as cliché (and maybe terrible) as it seems, promise.

Dan is quiet and never in a very good mood. Due to the bully at school and his general home life, he's depressed and he doesn't like to eat much as it only makes him more depressed. Dan truly just wants to be loved. Phil is usually always happy, his home life may be scattered but he for the most part doesn't let it bother him, and he seems to just go with the flow, that is until Dan catches his attention and Phil makes a decision to stick up for Dan. But why ? {told in both Dan and Phil's points of view} {mentions of bullying, depression, torture, strong language, and is overall just very sad.}Complete

Dan is a prince - and a different one at that. Usually you'd think that being a prince is a dream come true, but not for Dan. He just wants a normal life, normal friends, maybe a boyfriend... Finally, he gets the chance to move to a place far away from his small kingdom and live with his Auntie Eleanor. The problem? He has to pretend that he's not a prince. Lying? He's not so great at that. But for someone who wanted a boyfriend but hated the idea of love, he never expected to actually fall in love. Phil Lester. The boy with the black hair, who actually likes Dan for Dan. And so Dan can't tell him that he's a prince in a place on the other side of the world - and he wants it to stay that way. Otherwise he'll have to move back home and never return. Will everybody find out? Will his chance at a normal life be ruined? I've read a bunch of phan, so why not write one? Dan Howell's life couldn't be any better at the moment. He has met the most beautiful, charming, kind girl he could ever imagine, and she loves him back. Everything is perfect... but not for Phil. Phil Lester has always been in love with Dan since the first moment he first met him, but now Phil's heart is crushed. He has some suspicions of Dan's girlfriend, but Dan just brushes it off, ignoring Phil completely. Unfortunately, Phil's bad feelings may be true...
