Marinette had just moved into her new apartment that given to her by Adrian a man she knows nothing about well except the part where he is friends with Nino Marinette's BFFs boyfriend. She needed a place to stay because she had run away from her parents who were making her do an arranged marriage. One day Adrian shows up at her door asking to come in Marinette let's him in he says that he would like a agreement with her

The agreement being she will act as his girlfriend so his parents would leave him alone about finding someone and in return he helps Marinette with whatever she wants. She yes and thing goes well they become friends and end up going out on little dates for fun.
