In the forgotten town of Graven Hollow, no one ever gets sick.

There are no hospitals. No ambulances. Only the Needle Clinic, standing silent at the edge of the woods, run by a doctor no one clearly remembers-Dr. Needleman.

Once a month, every resident receives a "treatment" they cannot recall. A small sting. A white room. Then nothing. They wake up in their homes, with gauze on their arms and the eerie calm that follows compliance.

But Aira Voss, a rebellious young woman haunted by strange dreams and a growing fear of what lies beneath her skin, misses her appointment. For the first time in years, her body is untouched. Un-stitched.

And then... she starts remembering.

Memories flood back-of cold metal arms, humming needles with thread that moves, of people being sewn into themselves, mouths stitched shut, eyes kept open by threaded lashes. As she digs deeper, the truth unravels: the treatments aren't curing anyone-they're changing them.

And something is alive beneath the town. Something that feeds on fear, silence, and perfect skin.
